Mark received his degree from McNeese State University after which he entered the industrial safety and human resources arena. Mark continually focuses on the core issues that impact the scaffolding industry. Steve Thacker became the senior vice president and co-founder of Next Generation Scaffold Services after climbing the ranks through the scaffold industry from his start as a union labor apprentice. With 19 years in the industry, Steve’s experience gained in the field, sales, and management gives him a broad vision when designing new products to improve safety and efficiency in the industry. He has been awarded numerous US/International patents with many new designs pending. Belief in continuous improvement has led Steve to work toward completing his Construction Management degree to further guide NextGen in leading the way in improvement within the scaffolding industry.
Nate, a Louisiana State University graduate, has 16 years of experience in the petrochemical industry. He started his career with a major mechanical contractor and later became the Safety Supervisor for a large refining company. As a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Nate combines technical expertise with a team-oriented leadership style. He believes sustained safety excellence comes from engaging employees and building trust within the organization.
Lance attended UMBC where he studied Mechanical Engineering. He has worked in the nuclear, industrial, government, maritime and commercial sectors for over 30 years. He has an extensive background in the development of custom and specialty components, as well as engineering complex scaffold designs that have been used across all sectors. His attention to detail when working with clients has earned him the respect of many.
Nick Crum began his career in residential carpentry at 18, building a strong foundation that grew into expertise in scaffold design, planning, management and process improvement. Known for his integrity, work ethic, and commitment to safety, he has successfully led major projects, turnarounds, and maintenance contracts across the United States. His leadership and focus on excellence have been instrumental in driving organizational growth and delivering outstanding results for clients.
